1.桌子歪了，碗裡的湯就會撒出來。所以當鬧哄哄又不開心的時候，檢查一下自己是不是義的、對的、正的，如此你必要看見和平，並且滿有喜樂。

2.鹽能殺菌並使食物好吃，所以心裡急躁的時候，撒點鹽，讓我們的言語能被煉淨，好與人和平相處，相互包容。

3.不同的規矩造成隔離，甚至彼此仇恨；但在一個新人裡，沒有牆，沒有刀劍，連牽手都不必，因為你們本來不就是一個？

「因祂自己是我們的和平，將兩下作成一個，拆毀了中間隔斷的牆，就是仇恨，在祂的肉體裡，廢掉了那規條中誡命的律法，好把兩下在祂自己裡面，創造成一個新人，成就了和平；」（弗2:14-15）

4.小孩子甚麼都不能忍，馬上哭。但一個大的人，能留在低微的地位上，不為自己爭甚麼，並且忍受錯待。

5.一個國家沒有人管，就開始混亂。但我們有一位大君王，在我們的心和舌頭上施行管治，帶進和平！

「因有一嬰孩為我們而生，有一子賜給我們；政權必擔在祂的肩頭上；祂的名稱為奇妙的策士、全能的神、永遠的父、和平的君。」（賽9:6）

For a child is born to us, A son is given to us; And the government Is upon His shoulder; And His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace.
